Admin Office Manager – ADHD Norfolk

ADHD Norfolk is a charity that provides support and training in the field of ADHD in Norfolk to individuals, families, employers and local government functions including education.

ADHD Norfolk provide support both face to face or via the telephone and is key to making a difference and coupled with the determination to make ADHD Norfolk a charity of excellence, we are recruiting for an administrator/office manager to join our existing team of dedicated operational personnel. The working week at present is 10 hours and as the charity grows so will the role.

Duties

  • Promptly manage and respond to queries (emails, phone calls, post & social media contact) with efficiency & professionalism.
  • Manage the general admin for the charity and other associated duties.
  • Manage and document all activities and training course information, while ensuring confidentiality compliance
  • Generate invoices & collect payments.
  • Reporting to the CEO directly.
  • Liaise and interact directly with support staff and the Trustee chairman.

 

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Systems.
  • Demonstrate high time-management skills.
  • Willing to learn new computer systems.
  • Good general professionalism.
  • High work ethic.
  • Passionate about customer service.
  • Able to use social media platforms (Facebook,Twitter & Linked In)
  • Website management using the platform WordPress.
  • Ability to proof reading.
  • The ability to be dynamic and compassionate when interacting with all individuals, being pro-active in resolving any concerns that they may have.
  • Ability to work on own initiative yet also be a great team player.
  • Well organised and systematic, with attention to detail.
  • Understanding the values of ADHD Norfolk.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in the charity sector.
  • Own transport.
  • Creative with design ie leaflets, adverts etc
  • Familiar with Apple Mac systems

Hours:

10 Hours p/w

Salary:

Currently £8.50 per hour
