Different minds (ADHD ASD Norfolk) Limited was Established in 2007 and is CQC )care quality commission) regulated, ADHD Norfolk recognises ADHD & ASD as complex conditions, which can have a profound effect on individuals, families, schools and society. We aim to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding ADHD and ASD, whilst providing support and advice for anyone affected by ADHD & ASD in Norfolk and surrounding its surrounding counties Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Lincolnshire as well as the UK as a whole.
ADHD-ASD Norfolk works to assist individuals, families, schools and other organisations to improve the lives of those with ADHD & ASD.
We work to promote emotional wellbeing, educational attainment and maximise life prospects through increasing the understanding of ADHD/ASD.
Our services include Adult Coaching, Bespoke ADHD Staff Training, ADHD diagnosis and assessment. ABAS analysis and Qb checks. As well as working with its partner to offer ADHD/ASD Coaching, ADHD/ASD Screening assessment, and full ADHD/ASD diagnosis.
Different Minds (ADHD-ASD Norfolk) Ltd is regulated by the CQC (care quality commission) and has its own Psychiatrist who is GMC registered, Psychologists who are HCPC and BPS registered, psychotherapists as well as ADHD coaches and educators, we DO NOT use any other ADHD diagnosis providers. All clinic appointments are face to face.
The clinic operates using a strong multidisciplinary team with individual clinicians registered with the GMC (General Medical Council) and HCPC (Health Care professionals Council) and BPs (British psychological society). Including psychiatrists, psychologists, speech and language trained clinicians and an ex Norfolk County Council Special Education Teacher who has a post graduate degree in early childhood education and teaching from Cambridge University. A former SEN teacher, School behaviour lead, Norfolk Steps Tutor. We also have as part of the team neuro developmental coaches, counsellors and mentors.
Having a ADHD or ASD autism assessment or diagnosis can be a huge relief, you finally understand who you are.
However, after the initial relief of a diagnosis, there can be for many, a roller coaster of emotions including grief, loss and resentment.
In our clinic all our work involving Coaching, Psycho Education Screening and assessment is carried out by our specialists, Different minds (ADHD ASD Norfolk) Limited. We aim to give the very best support to neuro-diverse individuals be they 2 years old or 75.
