Associates, Trusted Partners & Recommended Services

At Different Minds (ADHD ASD Norfolk) Limited, we recognise that assessment is often just one part of a wider support journey. We work alongside a range of trusted professionals and organisations who provide high-quality services aligned with our clinical standards and values.

The services listed below include professionals and organisations we may recommend within our assessment reports or signpost families to for further support. While these services are independent of our clinic, we are familiar with their work and confident in the quality of care they provide.

NANSA - SENsational families

SENsational Families is a free support service provided by Nansa, offering advice, guidance, and practical support to families of children and young people aged birth to 24 years with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), whether diagnosed or suspected.

The service is delivered by experienced Family Support Advisers (FSAs) who provide information, signposting, and individualised guidance to help families navigate education, health, and support systems. SENsational Families also hosts a range of support groups and drop-in sessions, offering both professional advice and opportunities for parents and carers to connect with others facing similar challenges.

In addition, SENsational Families occasionally runs specialist support sessions focused on specific topics or featuring guest speakers, providing targeted information relevant to SEND and neurodiversity.

Families can request an initial 10-minute phone call or email contact with an FSA to receive advice, guidance, and signposting tailored to their needs.

We may signpost families to SENsational Families where additional advice, peer support, or guidance around SEND services and systems is beneficial following assessment.

Ryan Dakin – Junior Neurodiversity Coach

Ryan Dakin is a Junior Neurodiversity Coach who works with children and young people in both school and clinic settings. He provides practical, strengths-based support for neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, with a focus on building confidence, self-understanding, and effective coping strategies.

Ryan’s approach combines sport and physical activity with structured learning about neurodiversity. Through movement-based sessions, he supports young people to better understand how their brains work, recognise their individual strengths and challenges, and develop personalised strategies to support emotional regulation, focus, and everyday functioning.

A key aspect of Ryan’s work is acting as a champion and advocate for the young people he supports. He works collaboratively with children, families, and educational staff to help ensure that needs are understood and that strategies are consistent across settings. His sessions are tailored to each individual and delivered in a supportive, encouraging, and developmentally appropriate way.

Ryan’s work is particularly beneficial for children and young people who engage well with active, hands-on approaches and who benefit from learning through doing rather than purely verbal or classroom-based interventions.
